It is with great sadness that I terminate over eighteen years of
continuous association with the Vashon Island School District by
resigning my position as a campus monitor at Chautauqua Elementary
School, effective Friday, October 23, 2009.

From being an active single-parent father of a K-through-12 student
(Rosalie Sage, VHS Class of 2003), to assistant-coaching volleyball at
Vashon High School for one great season in the fall of 2003, to
working on the Chautauqua Elementary School playground as a campus
monitor from fall 2004 to fall 2009, over the past eighteen years I
have given a great deal of my time, my heart and my soul to the Vashon
Island School District and to its kids.

Unfortunately, irreconcilable differences at Chautauqua Elementary
School have created an untenable situation for me there, and I must
leave.

If for any reason you might need to reach me please contact me
privately from here on out as I will likely not be checking this
school email account any further.
