Blue Heron Youth Theater: the Legend of Sleepy Hollow

Friday through Sunday, November 17-18-19, 2006

From the classic ghost story by Washington Irving; adapted by Vera Morris.

The action of the play takes place in Sleepy Hollow, a Dutch farming community some 27 miles from New York City, in the early 1800's.

Director's Notes: "Washington Irving's classic ghost story comes alive with this rendition of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Students of Blue Heron Youth Theater enthusiastically explored the artistry that helped make Irving our nation's first literary master. Our wonderful cast and crew continue to create magical moments with their talents and creativity. It has taken an incredibly dedicated group of parents, grandparents and friends to create the authentic costumes, props and technical effects as well as the design and painting of the village of Sleepy Hollow. Thank you one and all for your contributions to our production."
