(OK: I went a little nuts. One of the main reasons I bought a Sony Mavica digital camera was to take pictures and put 'em up. I shoot 640x480 in sharp mode, which gets about 18-20 per 3.5 inch floppy. I took almost 200 pictures and 2 mpeg movies (9 floppy disks full) on Saturday alone; maybe 75 to 80 made the first cut. Here's a whole bunch of 'em. I pull 'em in to Adobe Photoshop, crop as needed, shrink 'em to 400 pixels wide, sharpen 'em, and save as a jpeg to low image quality. The low image quality doesn't seem to make any perceivable difference but it does cut file size, as does shrinking 'em to a smaller size..)

There's something going on here with whipped cream.. The Honor Guard 1999 Strawberry Festival Grand Marshalls Dorothy Johnson, and Aaron Sherman. Dorothy was instrumental in getting the old NIKE missle site donated to the community in 1976; it is now home to the Health Center and Granny's Attic. Aaron was born on Vashon Island and has lived here for 93 years; his grandfather was one of the four original European families to settle the island in 1877.
