This was probably one of, if not the most epic VHS Volleyball games and matches I've seen, and I've seen a few -- having been to virtually every home and away match during the four years my daughter played (fall 1999 to fall 2002) and having been assistant volleyball coach in the fall of 2003. In Varsity volleyball you must win best out of five.

The Pirates took the first two games of this match against Cascade Christian and then got behind in game three. Years past the Pirates might have given up on game three, only to be forced to win either game four or five to win the match.

But these girls drew a line and said "No. We're doing this in three". They were tied or behind again several more times in game three, finally tying and taking serve at 25 - 25, win by two. That was all they needed. Two serves, no mistakes in the rallies, and two kills. Game and match Pirates! Epic!
