The Varsity girls' volleyball team made it it to the District 1-District 3 playoffs and had their season ended there against the #1 team from Division 1, Klawhowya HS.

Scoring was 10-15, 5-15. The Pirates were down as much as 2-13 in the first game but lost a critical side-out and couldn't regain momentum.

NEXT UP FOR THE PIRATES:

There's some talk of putting together a club team this winter...

Coached by Rod Ciceri (Varsity), and Kirsten Eastman (JV, C), the Pirate Girls' Volleyball team has enough of a turnout this year (over 30 girls) to field Varsity, Junior Varsity and C Squads.

The JV and C squads started out early on 09/09 at a Jamboree at Mariner High School up in Mukilteo. The going was pretty tough for the Pirates, but it was to be expected since the other teams were mainly from big 4A and 3A schools.

The Varsity girls started 'way out in Forks on 09/08, and then at South Kitsap 09/14, and had a great match against the Bush School on 09/16.
