A First-Week-of-School Walkabout 2014I wanted to get out after school during sports practices and at least check in with the outside teams (girls soccer, football, cross country, boys tennis) and just see how things were going and how the new campus looked after its first summer. And everything looks pretty great! Some big news: the Robert Rock has finally made it into its new home out at the vistor's bleachers (which I can understand, even though I'd put it right back where it was at the entrance to the stadium so that everyone could always see it...). And again on the good-news side, the parking bumper at the west end of the parking spaces fronting the tennis courts HAS BEEN REPLACED!!! (If you don't know what I'm referring to here, um... OK...) Then, just for completeness, I went back the next week during lunch and shot a few photos of the newly-placed Bill Burby Memorial. |
