Vashon Island Strawberry Festival 2015!
Saturday's high

OK, so let's get this out of the way first. The temperature both Saturday and Sunday was beyond hella hot. Way, way out of my reasonable operating range, particularly since Saturday is potentially a 14 hour day (8:30 am up at the Burby Race, to as far into the 9:00 pm Street Dance as I can make it) and Sunday is a solid 7 hours (before the Tom Stewart Car Parade at noon 'til after the Loose Change closing performance at Ober Park).
I mean, it's not like I get to just sit under a tree somewhere and listen to music.
So I made it for eight+ hours on Saturday and five+ on Sunday. And this was after five hours Friday night. So, yeah. I'm not getting any younger. Nor are my feet...
Bad news is I didn't get to a lot of performances I wanted to. Good news is that I spent almost all my time at the VARSA Youth Stage 2015 and got to hear a lot of great Vashon kids perform! And I did get to the Big Three: the Burby 5-10K, the Grand Parade, and the Car Parade.
